The Seville Residence for Researchers and Library (REBIS) is a CSIC unit is a Specialized Technical Unit of the CSIC, depending on the Institutional Delegation in Andalusia, which includes a residence and one of the best Americanist libraries in the world. It is in the city centre, in a building where is also located the School of Spanish-American Studies (EEHA), an institute for research, training and scientific dissemination of American History.
Our aim is to promote teaching and research on American History. To this end, scientific contact, and cultural exchange are encouraged between Americanist researchers on both sides of the Atlantic.
